Paces Sheffield charity was created out of the need that
families had to find an appropriate system of education for
their child in the UK. It was discovered by them that the
only system available that addresses all of the needs of a
child with cerebral palsy is Conductive Education. During
the late 1980's early 1990's many families worked hard to
ensure their child could benefit from Conductive Education
by attending the Peto Institute in Hungary.
The following is some of the work she has undertaken
alone and with others:
- guidance and practical assistance in preparing an appeal
to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal
- Information regarding support that is available for
families
- Parent to Parent support
- attendance at reviews of a child's Statement of Special
Educational Need
- involvement in local and national policy consultations
Please note that this service is available to the family of a child or adult attending our programmes. We are happy to receive enquiries from any family interested in the various programmes we have to offer. |
